The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of town with easy access to shops, restaurants and the Moldemarka. You can walk to this wilderness area directly from the hotel – a pleasant walk through residential streets – and enjoy the nature trails and outdoor gym in the woodland.

The welcome we received at Thon Hotel Moldefjord was one of the best we've ever had – exceptionally friendly reception staff greeted us on arrival and made every effort to get us settled into our room as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Thon Hotel Moldefjord offers attractive, comfortable rooms with excellent facilities – some of which have fabulous mountain and fjord views.

There is a range of different room types available, including a wonderful business room with a unique semi-circular balcony – perfect for enjoying that view! This room is extremely spacious and comfortable, with a large sofa (that converts to a comfy sofa bed that's big enough for two kids) a flatscreen TV and modern tiled bathroom.

Facilities include tea and coffee in the room – with a fancy coffee machine, for real, fresh coffee – and free, fast wifi. Fresh flowers in the room were a lovely, welcoming touch.

Breakfast is served in the adjacent Egon Restaurant, where a full range of food is available, including hot dishes such as bacon and eggs – all very fresh and tasty.
