Water-to-Go Sugarcane Bottle with built-in filter

Using a water bottle with a built-in filter is a good idea as you don't have to worry about water quality if you're refilling your bottle when out and about.

The filter in this Water-to-Go bottle is highly effective, eliminating water-borne viruses, bacteria, parasites, and harmful chemicals. You can refill your bottle from any freshwater source, including streams and rivers, as well as from taps in areas where unfiltered tap water may not be safe to drink.

So wherever you're heading off to, you can be confident that you'll always have access to clean drinking water. And the water tastes as pure as bottled water – so you can save money by refilling, while reducing your use of single-use plastic bottles.

The Water-to-Go bottle* is made from sugarcane, using the fibrous residue left over from the sugar production process – this planet-friendly material would otherwise have gone to waste. The filter is built into the lid, and lasts for around three months with daily use – saving 400 single-use plastic water bottles.

One feature of the Water-to-Go bottle that we really like is that – as well as being designed to allow you to drink straight form the bottle – you can also transfer filtered water into a glass or another drinking bottle. This means you can hygienically share your filtered water with another person – especially useful if you're travelling with children.

Because the bottle is lightweight and fairly compact, it's ideal for taking on adventures and activities including hiking, cycling, sightseeing and camping. It's recyclable, and comes in a choice of six different colours.

A large proportion of the 14 million tonnes of plastic that ends up in the ocean each year is single-use plastic bottles. So using a filter bottle like this one is a great way to help reduce plastic pollution and minimise your impact on the environment.
